At this two-day scientific conference and a one-day stakeholders' workshop Co-Extra researchers will present the results of four years of scientific research and discuss how these integrate with other EU and international studies to provide information for the management of GMOs and their products from farm to fork.
A stakeholders’ workshop will take place on Day 3 (Friday, 5 June 2009) at the French Senate to enable discussion on coexistence and traceability issues taking account of demands, needs and practical experiences of stakeholders.
The conference will be of particular interest to scientists, policy makers, operators in food and feed chains, regulators, the media and consumer organisations. We anticipate attendance of around 300 people.
The Stakeholders' Workshop will also be of major interest to the general public. We anticipate attendance at the workshop to be in the region of 200 - 250 people.

Exhibition
An exhibition hall is located next to the conference halls and area for coffee breaks and posters.

- Small stand: 2m deep x 3 m long = 6 sq m = 800 €
- Medium stand: 2m x 5m = 10sq m = 1000 €
- Large stand: 2m x 10m = 20sq m = 1500 €
For the two days of the conference
Stand materials are not supplied. However chairs, tables, electrical equipment and other items can be made available on request.
Private Rooms
Rooms are available for organisations to hold side events, meetings, demonstrations, hospitality, refreshments, lunches etc. The rooms hold approx 50 people depending on type of function. The rooms are in the same building and close to the Conference. They will be clearly signposted from the conference if requested.
These rooms are available from 600 € per half day or 1000 € per day or 1750 € for the two days of the conference. Quotes can be made for supplying catering, staff and furniture for these rooms.
